On Friday 9/10/20 I mentioned that by next week I will spend some time with TraXX to talk about the Learning Organization by Peter Senge. Well, I read the Fifth Discipline today. Thus we don't have to wait for next week to get started. I will not talk about the five disciplines. That I already assigned Els to read through.
However, I want to stress a few points of why TraXX should move into becoming a Learning Organization.
The basic question you will be asking is, "Why bother?"
The short and simple answer is SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE. TraXX is not merely an organization. It is a pool of highly talented and intelligent people. Naturally, all of you are the Cleaners as described *[m]y (by) Tim Grover in his book Relentless.

The foundation of being a Cleaner is Personal Mastery. Read as much as you can. Expand your mental horizons and very importantly, have the habit of documenting your thoughts. Believe me, one day you will thank me for it. I will not be able to communicate as clearly to you today if not because of my relentless habit of documenting my thoughts. You too will realize that as you enter the digital era, documentation is paramount. Everybody has great ideas. However, for the ideas to be shared with the masses, it needs to be documented.
That is why the first information explosion is when paper was mass-produced. The second information explosion was after the invention of the Gutenberg printing machine. Finally, the third information explosion is when the internet was made available. Document your thoughts DAILY in a blog. That then becomes your Knowledge Capital.
What is the worth of knowledge to you? Well to me it ranges from RM10 k a day as a consultant to RM97 million worth of Intellectual Property.
Personal Mastery means sharpening your skills day in day out until it becomes unconscious competence. You must have a growth mindset as opposed to a fixed mindset. What it means you need to continue looking at the world with curiosity instead of maintaining the status quo.
As talents, you learn from each other. Everybody is a leader by your own right. Do not hog knowledge. When it is said that knowledge is power, it refers to Applied Knowledge. Otherwise, it is latent energy. Always be open when you do team learning. The more you learn the better you learn.
We learn best by modeling. All mammals raise their young through modeling. So are some species of birds and fish like whales and dolphins. When you get together to talk about somethings, talk about ideas, not about trivial matters
It is also important that you have a common vision towards a worthy ideal. In our case, we are striving for Global Telepathy, Empires of the Minds, and World of Hybrids. We are not working in isolation. As you know, you are the Trailblazer while Legion X is the Servomechanism. We need to maintain this formation since I had position TraXX Starfleet as the First Cause in establishing the Cybernetic Loop.
There are other things we can consider as well like going the extra mile and the pursuit of excellence. Suffice that I say success is not an accident. It is a concerted effort by everybody. Much like the flight of the geese. We can make it through if we stick together. No man is an island.
