I feel good today. With the exception of the coffee, everything is just nice.
Even the snooze is just nice.
I hope tonight I can sleep early again. I'm so used to that already.
This is the third day I have this nagging headache. It could be due to the Nicorette or its withdrawal although I suspect it is due to the gunk I sputter every morning.
We are having fish tonight. We hardly have meat around here. Very expensive.
I am one foot into Voluntary Simplicity already.
I need to program myself to think like a minimalist.
The real mark is if I manage to eat only the essentials. No cake, no 3-in-1 coffee, and no nasi lemak Ah Lim.
The more I can withstand eating unessential food the better. I will remain true to my essence.
Let's practice less is more. Let's get high on fasting. Then we get high on exercise. Then we get high on writing the blog.
The bottom line is I want to get high without having to spend much money. The only way to do it is through Voluntary Simplicity.
I got the basic needs taken care of; the house and the car. Other than that is basically the Voluntary Simplicity effort: less is more.
Always remember to go against the crowd. While everybody is scurrying to follow the herd. Find your own path. So far I survived by being autonomous.
The minute I follow the idiots, I get into trouble. Hahaha... Money market with a 50% annual return. Kiss my ass.
As long as I depend on money for my happiness, I am part of the herd. I need to get past that. Nowadays there are so many things I can do without the need for money:
- Blogging
- Internet Radio
- eBook from Pirate Bay
- Latest Movies from Pirate Bay
- Netflix
- YouTube
- Tweeting Rex and Els
- Dictionary (yeah!)
- Coursera
- Astro on Demand
My biggest issue is I had not been eating steak often enough.
Maybe I should forget about steak for the time being. All I need to do is eat steak at Ben's grocer.
Look, it's food that got me into trouble in the first place. Therefore if I eat healthily and I eat OMAD, I should be thin and fast, my ticket to health and happiness.
