- Begin to learn how to train the brain to pay attention “on command”
Well, after exploring the various aspects of happiness and compassion from the Tibetan monks, I concluded that I will stick to my own model.
That model is none other than what I had described earlier:
Health and Happiness
Thin and Fast
55 kg and 10 km/hour
Diet and Exercise
Eat right, move more and sleep well
A sound mind and a sound body
Ability to withstand hunger and saying no to sugar
Of all things to determine a person's success, these are the essence:
The ability to withstand hunger (OMAD)
The ability to say no to sugar and starch (LCHF)
The rest is pretty much an expansion of these thoughts.
For example, the monks put too much emphasis on meditation. I decided that I'm not going to do that. However, I am not going to ignore it either.
I will meditate 20 minutes a day just to condition my mind.
