I want to be thin and fast.
First, let's get as thin as possible. Let's aim for 55 kg. Well, let's do a range: 55 kg to 60 kg.
Already I am reaping the benefit of being thin. I look good in my old jackets.
Not only my tummy has gotten flatter, but my butt had also shrunk.
These are my motivations. Just now I was tempted to eat lunch. However, after some time in front of the mirror, I managed to ride the hunger away.
I cannot wait to wear my "military" clothes again. I love being in uniform. I like an orderly life. That's why I think David Goggins's story suits me.
--------------------------------------
Either I fast or I feast. When I fast I turn off the insulin. Therefore if I don't eat carbs, I also stop secreting insulin.
Fasting is not bad at all. No hunger. No ghrelin the gremlin. I am doing fine. I am feeding on my body fat.
I can do what Jim Caldwell did. I can fast as long as I can withstand hunger.
In the past, the temptation is to eat sugary stuff. Now we know that is due to sugar addiction. I plan to get rid of sugar addiction within 2 weeks.
Life is beautiful when you don't have to derive pleasure from sugar.
Sugar only tastes good because we are conditioned to the taste. If we do away with the taste, sugar is actually POISON to the body.
Therefore at 56, I am saying no to sugar and starch. No more insulin spikes. Better still, no more dopamine fluctuations.
I am really cleaning up my act.
I am so inspired by Jim Caldwell. He was 59 years old when he decided to change his life.
I had been talking about it since 2012. I was badly defeated beginning in 2006.
Now, I am coming back with a vengeance. It's a matter of educating myself on obesity, diabetes, and cancer. Once I have the knowledge, I can take informed action.
