I made a careless mistake and scratched my car. Oh, well... In the long run, I won't notice it. I was overly excited to get a parking spot.
I was pretty ravenous over the curry puff. Still, I have to persist. No carbs for the next 10 days. I need to find out if I can get rid of the carbs craving.
This is my inspiration:
I ended eating the curry puff and added some tempeyek, a rare treat (a cottage industry cumin, peanut, and fried anchovy crackers).
Luckily no insulin overflooding.

This ability to withstand hunger is a question of opportunity cost.
Which do I prefer? The instant gratification of carbs or the long term effect of refraining from eating sugar and starch?
I don't care what Jason Fung said. If even protein is instrumental in spiking insulin, then my real chance is to only eat complex carbs - veggies to be exact.
The rest, fruits even, are of no value to my citizens of the Universe Within.
Fructose is processed in the liver. Therefore it will create a fatty liver if I take too many fruits.
From what Jason Fung is telling, we should rely on healthy fat, some protein, and plenty of green veggies.
From today's lesson, I realized that I should drink plenty of water. I am tempted to eat more carbs but I MUST practice self-restraint. Back to discipline and willpower.

I just discovered that I am actually a cello man. For a while, I thought *[I thought] I was into guitar, then piano, then percussion, then flute, then violin. Finally, I settled for cello. That is one hell of an instrument.
* When I listen to Cello, it is like I am meditating. My mind is at peace, especially when listening to J.S. Bach.
I want to end tonight's posting with a little reminder:
Be mindful that we are going on seafaring. As long as we know that we can always control the sail and the rudder, we will reach our destination eventually.

Amazing... Two hours after I eat the tempeyek, I no longer crave it. So that is the nature of carbs craving. If I persist, I will lose my craving in two hours.
It's not the carbs that I need to worry about, it's the overflooding of insulin that I need to worry.
Apple Cider Vinegar to the rescue:
