I am damn motivated to exercise today knowing that I got TWO RM450 worth of running shoes each I bought for only RM149. They are meant for me to trash for the next four years.
Whatever it is, no lavish spending until 2024.
I need RM3,000 from Munek. Then I save RM2,000 a year from there.
If not, I save RM1,500 from there and another RM500 from the money I get from Princess.
Whatever it is I need to save RM2,000 a year for 4 years.
Another RM2,000 a year is from petty cash,
That way, come 2024 I will have:
- RM1,000 for a birthday feast
- RM1,500 for a new phone
- RM500 for perfume
- RM500 for custom-tailored clothes
- RM500 for running shoes
That's RM4,000
So definitely I need to ask for an extra RM1,000 from Munek.
Another way to look at it is to not withdraw from the bank but to only use the petty cash. If that is the case, I put aside RM4,000 in the ASB in addition to the RM1 k a year.
A more sensible way to look at it is:
- Set aside RM1,000 for petty cash
- Set aside RM4,000 in ASB for 2024 expenses
- Set aside RM3,000 in EPF as extra savings
You know, Sarah. All the savings will benefit my kids. That's why I still spend but I spend wisely.
My lifesaver is OMAD. With OMAD I can be thin again. That way I can wear my old clothes. I don't need to spend on extra food too.
